Reims está ubicado en el noroeste de Francia, a poco más de una hora aproximadamente saliendo en tren desde Paris, es el corazón de la champaña, es una ciudad pequeña pero hermosa, cuenta con su propia Norte Dame dedicada a Dionisio (Dios del vino).

Dentro de Reims pondrás recorrer sus diferentes casas vinícolas para degustar de su champagne y conocer tanto la historia como los procesos de las diferentes vinícolas.

¿Como me puedo mover en Reims?

En cualquier lugar turístico podrás comprar tours y Reims no es la excepción, si quieres algo organizado y fácil es la opción número 1, también si el presupuesto no lo tienes limitado.

La segunda opción es rentar un auto, me parece la más razonable para que puedas organizar tu día y tengas la libertad de visitar diferentes lugares sin ir al ritmo de nadie más.

Si no deseas rentar un auto, puedes caminar y tomar un pequeño autobús que es totalmente GRATUITO, este te llevará de casa en casa para que puedas entrar y hacer tus recorridos, de igualmente puedes moverte sin la necesidad del bus.

¿Cuanto tengo que pagar por entrar a una casa vinícola?

Depende mucho de la marca, te recomiendo que te pongas en contacto con ellos para agendar desde antes y así tengas tu día organizado, esto debido a qué hay tours tanto en Francés como en inglés.

El precio así como de la marca depende de la cantidad de copas que te darán, la cual en ningún caso excederá de 4, en lo personal te recomiendo que elijas de 2 por casa para que de este modo las disfrutes y no al llegar a la tercera casa que visitas ya ni tengas sentido del gusto, dentro de sus opciones las vinícolas te ofrecerán desde su línea básica a su línea más premium, esto dependerá de ti y tu presupuesto, en lo personal, tome básicas en casas no tan reconocidas y las premium en la más conocidas pues era garantía de calidad.

Los precios varían desde 30 Euros por dos copas hasta 50 Euros.

Casas Vinícolas

Tuve el gusto de visitar Tattinger, Pommery y Veuve Clicquot, sin duda mi favorito fue Veuve de Clicquot, pero esto claro es mi percepción, la calidad fue impecable, pero detras de eso la historia de esta casa para mi es lo mejor y todo lo que contribuyó en el mundo del champagne, en esta casa elegí la champagne rosada en la cual una de ellas no la exportarán hasta dentro de unos 4 años aproximadamente por lo que fue una inversion, te recomiendo que te fijes en este tipo de detalles en el momento de elegir las copas que puedes tomar.

A los viñedos ya no pude llegar por cuestión de tiempo, sin embargo caminando encontramos uno pequeño en el cual entré a tomar un par de fotos, después salieron unos chicos a decirme que era propiedad privada, me disculpe pero me dejaron terminar las fotos y les agradecí pues también conversamos un poco sobre la vendimia, todo con ayuda de google translate pues ni ellos hablaban ingles o español ni yo Frances.

Si quieres recorrer viñedos y casas te recomiendo 3 noches, si solo te interesan las casas con 2 bastará o incluso un día llega o temprano, sin embargo es preferible pasar por lo menos dos noches ahí pues habrá alcohol involucrado.

¿Donde comer?

En el centro de la ciudad podrás encontrar una calle llena de restaurantes y cafés, yo camine un poco más y encontré un adorable y pequeño restaurante donde pedí un fondeau delicioso y una copa de vino.

Como en todos lados en Francia, podrás encontrar Boulangeries con Baguettes ya listas para sólo llevar, idea, para comer entre el tiempo de espera entre una vinícola y otra.

Viuve Cliquot, y definitivamente ni te puedes ir de Reims sin comprar las famosas galletas champagne hechas a base de almendra, de esta manera si te compras una botella en alguna casa podrás remojar tus galletas en tu delicioso copa de este increíble espumante.
